New Social Media Page is live on the website

Our new social media section of the website went live this afternoon at approx 4:30 EST. There is a lot of great stuff on there.. Make sure you go to www.shawnmcmillen.com and click on the facebook and twitter logos in the top right hand corner for all the neat details.

Good Friends...separate worlds

Ok.. so we all have horse show friends and non horse show friends.. No matter how hard it is to explain to your non horse show friends what is is that you do or part of they just don't get it.

I have found some amazing friends in the horse show world. People that I didn't think would matter or care do and people that I thought were rocks in my non horse show friend world turned out to be mere specks of sand. This is a silent thank you to those of you that are amazing in more ways than I could ever spend telling you. You guys know who you are and exactly what I am talking about. Thank you for being my friend but more importantly thank you all for being you.

A wise man once told me "if you can go through life and count all your true friends on one hand you are blessed" I thought he was nutz.. Well Dad.. "your were right"

Lots of changes coming

Hey all! So did we all enjoy the Super Bowl or what? Personally the teams that played were my favorite (steelers) and 2nd favorite (packers) so either way was ok for me. My mothers whole side of the family are home grown cheeseheads and I have to admit seeing my 67 year old mother and her 65 year old sister all blinged out in greenbay fan gear while cussing at the tv and slugging down cocktails was a site to behold. To both teams .. The entertainment was priceless. Thank you!

The commercials kinda sucked this year. My favorite probably was little vader, and Budweiser dropped the ball for sure. Anyways that's not why I'm here.

We are planning some big changes for our site this year as well as our interaction with you. We have a Facebook group, if you sign up for our group you can get real time updates to when photos are available in the trailer as well as online. We also have a fan page this will enable you to have special discounts and incentives. We also are also on twitter. If you sign up for all three our group, fan page, and twitter we will grant you VIE ( very important equine status) VIE members will receive a VIE card and there will be monthly discounts and incentives that will be available only to VIE members. Become a VIE member today.

Here's how. Find us on Facebook and become a member of our group, as well as our fan page we can be found on twitter under the name @ShawnMcMillen once you have signed up with all three email us your mailing address so we can send you your VIE card.
